The ambulances will have to wait

I love Family Guy.

In other news, I hope to have my computer soon. Once I do, posts will bloom like dandelions in May. I haven't been using Breka's computer because we have been cheesing each other off, and that's just one way to lessen things. I can't wait to move out.

Still trying to get things settled with the apartment. Von's decided not to keep her kitty, partly because she doesn't really want to keep an animal that pisses her off more than regularly, and also because of the $200 pet deposit. So Vester will be an only cat, which means... He's going on a diet! He's huge. Without any other cats to feed with him, I can control what amounts he'll get. Hopefully that will help.

So now all I have to worry about is the apartment deposit, pet deposit, rent, moving costs, and I'll be set. Sadly, my plates (read: two inspections, plate fees, and tax) are due at the same time, and almost immediately after is my car insurance. I don't think I'll be able to pay it in one lump sum again. Oh well. I'll manage.

Finally made an appointment with a therapist for July. I had called the damn office twice to make an appt. and then they called me to cancel because the guy they had me scheduled to go to wouldn't take my insurance. Gah! So I called back Friday and was told I had to talk to someone else to straighten out the insurance thing. Naturally, whomever it was wasn't in the office, so I had to call back later that day and talk to her. During that call, we figured out that the only woman who took my insurance wasn't available until August, but there was another one who might be available in July, but she was at another office. So after I got off the phone with her, I called that office to make an appt., but it was closed already. So I called on Monday and was told her receptionist was on the phone, and could she call me back later? I said sure, no problem. I never got a call back, so I called again today and within four minutes had made my appt. and was all done. I hate office roulette.
