Shoes!

Yes, Von's bridesmaids finally all got together and decided on something! Whee! We finally got our shoes picked out, and they're NOT WHITE! Navy dresses with white shoes are just not meant to be. They're black heels with a knotted tapering strap in front and a thin strap in back. Not too uncomfortable, either. Who is going to the wedding? Who's bringing someone to the wedding? Who's kicking off their shoes at the first opportunity?

I've really been updating a lot recently, and I think that's because I finally have a computer to update on that doesn't keep kicking me off. Yay! This pleases me. It's not really like I have anything to post about, I just don't have anything to do. I wonder if the two are related......

This is what my sister got me for my birthday. Isn't she swell? Not just anyone would give me three and a half pounds' worth of brownie. Mmm.

Countdown!!

One day til my birthday! And not just any birthday, because even though all birthdays are special, as well as the un-birthdays, this one is the peak. The pinnacle. The twenty-first.

Yes, I know many of you have celebrated your twenty-first birthday already. Kudos to you, and such. You're figuring, 'This post is going to be all about how excited she is to become legal drinking age. Big whoop.' I know that many of you are now skipping this post. But do I care? No. Why, you ask? I'll tell you.

Not just like 'Oh, Betty Crocker, fresh from a box'. No. This is a tray, made by people who are brownie whores like me. Some are plain. Some are sugared. Some are powder sugared. It's massive. It may be heaven in clear plastic. Soon there will be a picture of brownie heaven.

Why do we love the day after Valentine's?

Half-price chocolate, baby. Oh yeah. Not that I really need it, Mike is a sweetheart and got me not only a box of chocolate, but a red rose as well. I cannot believe how lucky I am. *revels*

In other news, they changed the comment thingy on here, so now it's much easier to use. No more clicking through six different pages to get your comment published. Now you just click to comment and click to publish - and that's it! I love it! Make sure you try it out by, oh, leaving me a comment? Best update I've seen on here since I joined, not that I'm on here that much. Heh..... That will change, I promise. I'll try to post at least once a month. ('Yeah, right' thinks my loyal following of 2.3 people.) Eh.
