Cheese is good for the body and soul...

Or so my brother, the Psychotic Buzzy-Haired Bastard (hey, he picked his own pseudonym) tells me. PBHB for short. He's making a jar of cheese for lunch. Nachos, or so he says. I am waiting for the end of the workday, because then I am picking up people and we are going SHOPPING!!! At Johnny O's, no less. For those unfamiliar with this fine establishment, Johnny O's is a sex toy, lingerie, and general fun store. :D Lookin' forward to it, oh yeah. Who knows, I may even post about our trip later today. Well, I'm going to go read HP4, post to you later.

Beware the streets...

Breka took her permit test again today and passed! She showed her permit to me before I even got down the stairs. Yay! Hopefully soon she can start driving me places for a change. :D Got to hang out with Mike yesterday, that was very nice. I miss seeing him everyday. I'll be happy when I'm back with him after Blandine heads back down under, and I'm sure Breka will be more than happy to have our basement all to herself again. *hum* I just realized I have not yet put up a post detailing everyone. Must get on that. Man, I cannot concentrate on writing for shit today, so here's some jokes instead.

Sign over a urinal

Stress management meditation
Picture yourself near a stream.
Birds are singing in the cool, crisp mountain air.
Nothing can bother you here.
No one knows this secret place.
You are in total seclusion from that place called the "real world".
The smell of pine and blossom is on the gentle breeze.
The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.
The water is clear.
You can easily make out the face of the person whose head you're holding under the water.
Feel better?

Harsh things to say to a naked man
Oh, it's cute!
They have surgery to fix that.
Make it dance.
Wow, and your feet are so big.
It's OK, we'll work around it.
Will it squeak if I squeeze it?
Let's just cuddle.
*giggle and point*
This explains your car.
At least it won't take long.
I never saw one like that before.
It still works, right?
It looks so unused...
Are you cold?

I am declawed

Yes. I have cut my nails. I've needed to do it since the wedding, and I finally got around to it today. It's something of a relief, because typing and stuff with fingertip involvement go a lot smoother, but they look so much better long! Oh well. They'll come back. In other news, Blandine came back yesterday evening, and I spent all day, literally all day, cleaning the house. I dusted, I swept, I mopped, I vacuumed, I polished, I washed, I dried, I neatened, I made the bed, I took out the trash. And that was just the afternoon. Hopefully Mike will call me soon and let me know how everything went. I'm always afraid that I forgot to do something important, or missed cleaning something, or screwed up in some way. Nothing I can do about it now, though. And now I'm back at home for two weeks-ish while Blandine's at the house. It's kind of nice being back with my family again, though, and have cats around instead of dogs, and the toilet seat is left down when people are done, instead of up for the dogs to drink out of. And in a couple of weeks I'll be back.

Wheee!! I have a shake!!

Yes, it's been a while. No, I haven't forgotten. Just as I got my computer to my house and all set up (see previous post) Mike up and tells me bring it back, he's going to work on it. Gah! So I take the tower back to the house, but it never even leaves my car. Today I decided dammit, my tower is mine, and I want to use it. Blandine's coming back for a couple of weeks on Thursday, so he'll be busy doing stuff with her anyway - he won't have time to fix it. Speaking of, I'm really nervous about meeting her. I hope we get along. Before she gets here, though, I need to move all my stuff back to my house until after she heads back to Australia. Fun. Laura's wedding was Saturday...Yay! All was joy and happiness. Brooke was soo cute in her little dress! She looked like a poofy flower. It was a good wedding, with much grape juice and a very long receiving line. Everyone looked handsome/beautiful/cute, especially Mike in his tux...:D And now it's back to work as usual. I shall post more often, I swear!!

What a day!!

Well, I was off today, so I decided to take my sister out for a movie/shopping/girl day. Had to wake her up first, though. Half past noon and she's still sound asleep. Anyway, once I had her up and going, we went to Mickey D's for lunch, and from there to see Shrek 2. Best fucking movie out this year! I love Puss in Boots. He's a sexy, adorable cat, voiced by ...mmm... Antonio Banderas. Couldn't've made a better choice, I say. After the movie, we went to the mall to do a little shopping. Breka (my sister) picked up some hermit crab food for her guys, and a new shell at the pet store, where we ran into -guess who!- the Infamous T and her M! They were looking for some fish stuff. We also went to another pet store, where we looked at sugar gliders. They are so cute! This one little guy kept jumping all over his cage, climbing the ceiling, staring at us...So Cute!! I got some hamster food and treats for my babies. Then we went home for a bit. I took Moueska to pick up her bridesmaid dress for a wedding, and then we got Subway. Brought it back to my house and watched Pirates while I set up my computer at my house (it's been on the living-room floor for over a month). Wrote a post, lost it, and wrote this instead. Damn computers...grr. Oh well, it's up now. And so continues the saga of me.
